The Medical Assistant position is comfortable working in a fast paced, paperless environment. Daily tasks include taking vitals, rooming patients, cleaning rooms, assisting with procedures, etc. As an urgent care clinic, we see mostly lower acuity patients but we are a patient centric, modern company focused on providing patients with excellent medical care. In this role, the Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, as well as provides clinical and non-clinical services within the scope of practice at El Rio Health, at a clinic location assigned by management. This scope of practice for a Medical Assistant employed will adhere to the Policies and Procedures of El Rio Health.
