Administers medications and vaccines safely following the rights of medication administration. Performs other duties as assigned such as medication refills, insurance authorizations, safety/regulatory log completion, patient messaging, medication/supply ordering, appointment scheduling, and referrals. Cross trained to perform duties that are relevant to specialty or clinic practice within the scope of the Medical Assistant.
