Job Summary and Qualifications General Statement of Duties: The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the delivery of quality surgical care through planning and anticipating the surgeon/procedure needs and coordinating with the circulating perioperative nurse during surgical procedures. Takes appropriate action if item count is not correct and informs the appropriate staff. 6. Consistently follows safety procedures and protocols for Timeout and when handling sharp instruments, powered equipment, hazardous chemicals and lasers. 7. Performs high-level disinfection using established policies and procedures as required. Additional Job Functions: 1. Maintains an efficient controlled O.R. environment by processing and re-stocking supplies and equipment. 3. Ensures the integrity and safety of the specimen prior to pathology procedures. Job Summary and Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) We are currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (Certified OR Tech). As a Certified Surgical or Operating Room Tech, you greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the surgical suite. Once in the operating room, you will perform technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for our surgical patients.
