The Surgery Center of Middle Tennessee is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility dedicated to a broad range of surgical procedures. Our surgeons specialize in orthopedic, pain management and eye procedures and services. We believe in compassionate medicine, where our focus is on each individual patient.  We are currently searching for Certified Surgical Technologist to work PRN Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.  Major responsibilities include ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments.

 You must possess a HS school diploma/GED, have completed a surgical scrub technician course, have operating room experience, and have strong moral and ethical character references.

POSITION SUMMARY: Full Time-5 days/week, GI experience preferred-$24/HR. Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the Center, in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and team members exhibiting teamwork characteristics. May be responsible for ensuring proper care and use of instruments and equipment. May transport patients to and from procedure room. Assists with cleanliness of procedure room area and assists with room turnover.
