For ICU assignment assists the attending ICU physician in the care and management of patients. This includes making patient rounds, contributing to the decisions for daily care, writing orders, interacting with consultants, and facilitating and coordinating the scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures. Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostics, coordinating follow-up care as necessary. Provide health coaching, lifestyle modification guidance, and patient education to empower patients in managing their health. Identify patients needing referrals, or home-based services, and facilitate appropriate coordination with specialists or community resources. Utilize and provide feedback on our electronic health platform, contributing to its continuous improvement to enhance patient and provider experience. Participate in clinical case reviews, team huddles, and interdisciplinary collaborations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Required skills and experience: Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing or the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states within 90 days of hire. Board certification in Family Medicine, Adult-Gerontology, or Internal Medicine. Minimum 2 years of primary care, urgent care, or internal medicine experience, preferably with experience in telehealth or virtual care settings. Active BLS certification at time of hire.
