Overview Community Health Partners is seeking a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (APPs) to join the Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Associates (ALSA) team. In this role, the APP will provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care for bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery patients, working closely with attending surgeons and the interdisciplinary care team. Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's healthcare needs. Furnishes medications based upon written protocols. Ensures that patients are counseled regarding treatment plans and the use, dosage and possible side effects of medications. Makes referrals to appropriate providers when patients require subspecialty medical attention beyond the area's scope of service. Documents and maintains precise and complete records of patients. Distinguishes between normal and abnormal findings. Provides education, training, information and consultation services to interdisciplinary team, patients, family and caregivers.
