We are looking for skilled Neuroscience ICU nurses to take on challenging work with a specialized team in 12-hour shifts. Our Neuroscience team at Community Regional was one of just 11 neuroscience intensive care units in the U.S. to earn a Beacon Gold Award of Excellence. As part of our Level I Trauma Center, the largest of three acute care hospitals, you will be key to the continuum of care of Valley patients and beyond! In this 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:2, you will work closely with fellow team members, including our Neurological Intensivists, who provide teaching in an individualized or group setting. Procedures such as placing external ventricular drains, ICP monitors, line placement, and lumbar drains are examples of the credentials and training our team members have. Your role here will also include opportunities for growing your skillset as well as educational training so that you can qualify to pursue additional certifications within Neuroscience (i.e., ENLS, CCRN, CRRT, Trauma Care, etc.) and advancement opportunities within the clinical nurse ladder.
