Upon completion of the program, the trainee must successfully pass the certification examination. Upon successful completion of the training program and upon becoming certified the Surgical Technologist Trainee will transition into a Surgical Technologist role and agree to a work commitment within WVUH hospitals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Must enroll and be accepted into an accredited Surgical Technology program or WVU Medicine’s internal Surgical Technology program. 2. High school diploma or equivalent 3. BLS certification within 30 days of hire PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : EXPERIENCE: 1.
