We have single rooms with state of the art equipment and work closely with all disciplines- surgical, cardiac, GI, genetics, renal, palliative care etc. We have Neonatologists and APP’s covering 24/7 with a nursing staff of 150. We have an active critical care transport team and a nurse driven PICC Team. Assists the physician in the administration of nursing care to patients within the physician's office/clinic. Assists in maintaining a sanitary and safe environment which is conducive to enhancing the therapeutic plan of care. These duties include assisting patient in the examination room, proper handling of soiled linen, proper disposal of biomedical materials, and maintaining adequate ventilation and lighting. POSITION SUMMARY: A Certified Nurses Aide is a primary member of the nursing team who provides quality care to residents in compliance with philosophies, objectives, resident's rights and established policies and procedures. Follows Rehab Nursing measures. Is responsible to look at the activity calendar at the beginning of each shift and assures that all residents are transferred to and from all activity programs in a consistent, timely manner. Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers, and transport to appointments. Reports any needs of resident, signs or symptoms of illness or distress, injuries or accidents including falls, skin tears, bruises, and red areas to Nurse on duty. ** 13. Measures, records and documents vital signs, height/weight, I&O's and any information that is pertinent to resident care plan, resident care profile and reports all out of limit findings to the Nurse on duty. Participates in resident care conferences as appropriate and the process of care planning in a positive and constructive manner. ** 15. Follows all pertinent personnel policies re: attendance, breaks, meals, staff meetings, mandated requirements per policy, float assignments, dress code etc. Work schedules may be subject to change based on the needs of the department to provide the highest quality care to our residents.
