The unit specializes in neurological conditions—including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and other acute neurologic disorders—as well as caring for patients requiring close cardiac or respiratory monitoring, complex chronic disease management, and ICU step-down support. Staffed by a collaborative team of RNs, LPNs, and NAs who work closely with one another to provide high quality care. 6 South offers broad exposure to diverse medical and neurological conditions, providing an excellent environment to build and strengthen core progressive-care nursing skills. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Greater than 1 year of RN experience (Less than 1 year of RN experience - Please refer to postings that have New Graduate RN in the job title.)
