Overview Hours: 3/12hr shifts 7pm-7am Purpose Statement/Position Summary The Registered Nurse, under general supervision, conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs. The Float Teams at CHLA offer nursing support to nearly every unit in the hospital, multiple med surg units, ICU’s (PICU, CTICU, NICU), and the ED. Generally, the teams are divided into a med/surg team and an ICU team, with the opportunity to cross train to areas of interest as your experience on the team grows. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience 1+ year experience as an RN. 2+ years experience in critical care. Pediatric experience highly preferred.
