In a correctional institution, this position also ensures that clinical operations are carried out in compliance with all security procedures and correctional facility rules. Must be knowledgeable and compliant with State and Federal regulations that govern correctional healthcare services, as well as any credentialing agencies or governing bodies. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including enforcement of corporate and facility policies and the development and enforcement of department-specific policies. Responsible for customer, employee, and provider satisfaction initiatives within a secure correctional environment. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s Degree or in process of achieving degree. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in area of responsibility. 1 to 3 years leadership experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: • RN Licensure in South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement • Certification in area of responsibility preferred • AHA BLS Certification Working Conditions Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned, and heated office environment located within a secure correctional institution.
