About Us
Who We Are
With roots in Charlston dating to 1824, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is the oldest medical school in the South. MUSC now educates more than 3,100 students in six colleges and trains over 950 residents each year. As South Carolina’s only comprehensive academic health system, MUSC has a mission to change what’s possible.
The 31,000 MUSC members are dedicated to delivering the highest-quality and safest patient care while fulfilling the goal of educating and training the next generation of care providers. It’s no wonder that MUSC nursing jobs are in demand. If you are considering one of the many MUSC careers open to dedicated nursing professionals, this is the place to start.
Interested in exploring MUSC jobs? Then you’ll want to know that as a nurse, your voice matters. You can take part in nurse-driven research, or help to improve daily practice by participating in the MUSC shared governance councils. Whether you are a dedicated clinician or are more focused on advancing the future of healthcare through research, there are MUSC jobs that may be a fit for you. You can find what ignites your passion working at:
- Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA), which employs care teams across the state
- Medical University (UNIV), which is the state’s only integrated academic health sciences center
- MUSC Physicians (MUSC-P), which includes physicians, advanced practice providers, clinicians, and non-clinical staff that provide care in the Charlston area
Whatever your area of expertise or preferred care setting, MUSC nurse jobs are opportunities to explore.
