Performs within the bed capacity of every facility within Prisma Health. Assures that patient movement is maximized so that lack of room for a referred patient is a non-issue. Works very closely with Central Bed Management. Conforms to and takes the initiative to be aware of all general rules, regulations, policies and practices of the department and system. Attends the appropriate meetings and communicates needs to other disciplines along with known or anticipated problems. Completes post-discharge phone calls as needed. Responds to complaints by listening and taking appropriate corrective action in a timely manner. Refers problems to appropriate individuals if unable to resolve. Performs other duties as assigned.
