JOB DUTIES Assesses the patient’s condition and nursing needs prior to, during, and following interventional pain management procedures. Performs patient intake including obtaining vital signs, reviewing allergies, medications, and health history, and preparing patients for procedures. Provides pre-procedure and post-procedure education and discharge instructions to patients and caregivers, ensuring understanding of home care and follow-up requirements. Documents all nursing care, assessments, and procedural support accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Demonstrates cost-conscious use of supplies and maintains equipment in clean, safe, and functional condition. Assists with inventory management, stocking procedure rooms, and ensuring availability of sterile supplies and medications required for scheduled cases. Collaborates with providers and team members to support efficient patient flow and timely completion of the daily procedure schedule. Other duties as assigned.
