JOB SUMMARY Provides all necessary services needed to assist hospice patients to live in the Marquette Hospice House, becoming part of the Hospice team to carry out the patient’s plan of care. JOB DUTIES Provides direct care to guests (hospice patients) who live in the home. Assist in the facilitation of smooth patient transition, greets guests and their families courteously. Prioritizes patient care. Provides all identified needs of our guests under the direct supervision of the Hospice RN who operates under physician orders. Administers medication to guests as regulated by the nurse practice acts and in accordance with guests’ plan of care. Manages medication box and medication audits.
