Position Summary: Leads program planning, development, and implementation of training including patient education, nursing education and research initiatives. Assists with developing, and administering capital and operating budgets in order to meet agreed-upon departmental goals and objectives.Implements appropriate methods to monitor adherence to budgets and resolve variances. Serves as technical resource to subordinates in resolving complex problems and in investigating and recommending corrective actions in response to incident reports and/or patient complaints. Ensures the attainment of objectives through the selection, development, training and evaluation of nursing education staff. Ensures that all nursing education services activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and governmental regulations and laws. Graduate of accredited dietetic program in university or college, with completion of accredited dietetic internship.
