Nursing care is delivered utilizing a patient-centered approach and incorporating the Professional Practice Model. The OR RN will provide patient-centered care through teamwork and collaboration to achieve quality patient outcomes. The incumbent will integrate best practices and current evidence-based practices for delivery of optimal health care; will use data to improve quality and safety and uses informatics and technology to communicate, manage information, mitigate errors, and support decision making. What You’ll Do: Assess and implement priority-based nursing care and establish goals to meet the patient’s needs. Integrate patient values, best practice, and evidence into patient care. Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery. Function competently within own scope of practice. Utilize a communication style/practice to meet the needs of the team and/or the situation. Collaborate with other disciplines to provide the patient with comprehensive care. Apply technology and standardized practices to support patient safety, quality and patient education. Employ quality / process improvement to reduce risk of harm and adverse events. Effectively function in all areas of the unit. Maintain required competencies. Ability to float to other units as needed. Who You Are: Associate degree in nursing required. Current New Hampshire licensure as a Registered Nurse required. A minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred. Knowledge of professional nursing practice.
