Shift: PRN Summary: The Dialysis RN (Registered Nurse) is responsible for providing care to patients who are in chronic and acute kidney failure who require dialysis or hemodialysis to filter out waste from their bodies. The Dialysis RN monitors patients during their dialysis session and works under the supervision of the nursing leader to coordinate the delivery of care to patients requiring dialysis. As a registered nurse, the Dialysis RN is also responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating each level of nursing care provided throughout the patient's stay and actively planning to manage patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
