Every nurse on the Adolescent Male Crisis Stabilization Unit is provided the tools they need to be successful. What to expect. Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans. Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician. Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families. Job Summary The Providence Center Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) provides short-term care for patients experiencing an acute psychiatric and/or substance use crisis that could escalate to a point of requiring hospitalization.
