Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance. Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care. Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs. Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values. How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner (NP) of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is responsible for providing a full range of medical services for patients under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and other site Physicians. They work within established policy and procedure, as well as state guidelines, to deliver high-quality care to patients seeking MAT for substance abuse disorders. The NP also ensures accurate documentation of services and communicates effectively with the Medical Director and site director to maintain coverage of medical services. Key Responsibilities Conducts on-site chronic care clinics and sick call as established by Site Medical Director, Health Services Administrator, or designee.
