Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: The Care Transitions RN conducts day-to-day activities for the clinical, psychosocial and utilization coordination of the patient’s hospital experience. Summary Cardiac/Medical Registered Nurse (RN) Your work matters here. Staff RN-Neuro/Trauma ICU

Summary SUMMARY The Critical Care (Neuro/Trauma) RN manages the care of patients with conditions including: acute neurological insult/injury, respiratory failure, and multi-system failure/multi-system injury. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions consistent with the Critical Care Unit including: ACLS/PALS guidelines, dysrrhymia assessment and intervention, pre and postoperative care, airway and ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication administration, monitoring of neurological devices and intervention, and management of post-transplant patients. The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for meeting patient's priority needs by assessing, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing and /or delegating care and evaluating patients' responses and progress toward clinical outcomes. The Staff RN contributes to an efficient and effective work environment through activities including professional communication and documentation, preceptoring and/or resourcing of others.
