Helps identify patient problems and potential risks and contributes to the development of interventions. Assists in identification of patient’s learning needs and reinforces self-care and other techniques. Appropriately designates applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital’s established system. May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies. Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.
