Comfort Keepers® caregivers travel to clients’ homes to support adults with personal cares and light housekeeping. Ask about our FREE CNA classes. Experience with dementia strongly preferred. The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 60 days of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase upon certification. Responsibilities: Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc. Meal planning, cooking and baking Conversation and companionship Interactive Caregiving Errands and transportation Assistance with ADLs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CNA to join our caregiving team. The CNA will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, and emotional support to our clients in the comfort of their homes or in assisted living or memory care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to help seniors, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to various behavior situations. The hourly wage is between $16-18 plus great benefits. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required Smart phone Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto insurance that is willing to drive 20-30 minutes for a shift Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy Tolerance small pets (dogs and/or cats) Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Prior experience with dementia patients and within senior care, a must!
