The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is a 15-bed, outpatient specialty area within the hospital. It may also be called an observation unit. It is a place where a patient’s health can be monitored when they do not meet the requirements for inpatient hospitalization yet require further observation before they go home. The unit allows our patients to rest in a comfortable, private healing space and to stay longer than a traditional emergency room visit. It is designed for patients who need tests or short-term treatments. A patient in this unit will benefit from a quick assessment of their condition, less time in the hospital, a lower cost of care, and a better experience. Hours: 0.9 FTE, 12 hour Nights. Every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Starting from $18.00/hr (increases with expereince) Full-time / Part-time: Full Time Benefits FTE: 0.90 What You Will Do: We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide support to the staff and patients on the unit. Qualified candidates will work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients.
