Key Responsibilities: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

 

As an LPN, you are vital to the clinical care provided at our facility. Your duties include:

  • Daily Documentation: Meticulously perform daily documentation of resident care, status, and changes in condition accurately and completely in compliance with facility policy and state regulations.

  • Order Management: Transcribe physicians’ orders to MARs (Medication Administration Records) and treatment sheets, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.

  • Communication: Promptly notify pharmacy of new orders and communicate any changes in resident condition to the supervising RN/physician immediately.

  • Medication & Treatment: Safely and accurately prepare and administer medications and perform prescribed treatments as ordered by the physician, strictly within the LPN scope of practice.

  • Supervision: Assist in supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on your unit to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.

  • All other clinical and administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications:

 

  • Must possess an Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in good standing in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

  • Prior experience in a long-term care setting is a plus, but motivated LPNs are encouraged to apply.
