Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. independently. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance with you listed as an insured driver. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Willingness to obtain a valid TB test and CPR certification. At least one year of previous caregiving experience. Caregiver Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a home care setting is a plus. Fluency/Familiarity in other languages including Spanish, French, Polish, German, Russian, Tagalog etc. is a plus. Pet-friendly is a plus. Willingness to drive for up to an hour. Comfortable driving in common weather conditions experienced in the Michiana area throughout the year. Previous Home Care experience a plus. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
