Administer as allowed, oral PRN drugs when authorized by a licensed nurse. Understand that injectable medications must always be given by a licensed nurse. Demonstrate knowledge that the telephone or verbal orders may never be accepted by a QMA. Understand and demonstrate knowledge that appropriate vital signs will be taken and recorded as required before administering certain medications.
