This position assists multiple disciplines within the operating room by preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and maintaining environmental standards. The Surgical Technologist measures and passes medications, hemostatic agents, and other solutions. Pass instruments to surgeons and surgical assistants. May assist with sponge, needle, and other supply counts to track materials used in surgery. May operate suction, diagnostic, and sterilizing equipment, and package specimens to take for laboratory analysis. Clinic responsibilities may include rooming patients, taking vitals, orders, and routing phone calls. Full Time Day position available; 7-1730, 4 days a week. On call requirement.
