Recognize when a patient is out of the scope of care and create a plan for them to find appropriate care. Master all technical tools including EMR (our proprietary clinical management system), Video, iChat, onsite lab tests, and pharmacy. Deliver a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCareCare tools and methodologies. Know how to convert a one-time visit to a relationship. Be able to create a relationship using various mediums such as video visits and chat conversation. Know how to provide a focused and goal oriented session (Labs and medications when medically appropriate) in a one-stop experience for the patient. Ability to practice independently when providing care and seek consultation when appropriate. Open to ZoomCare's provision of timely feedback on clinical quality, customer compliments and concerns, and medical care issues Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN), preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred. Current Registered Nursing licensure in Oregon and Washington. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialization, required. Board Certified or Board certified eligible Psychiatrist within 3 months of employment, including relevant subspecialties. All medical providers must be eligible as a provider for Medicare or complete Medicare credentialing requirements prior to hire. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire. The PICU is a 20-bed unit specially equipped to provide care to critically ill or injured pediatric patients from birth to young adulthood, in a family-centered atmosphere. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year PICU RN experience or 2 years Peds acute care RN experience Pediatric CCRN certificationBSN Graduates: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) 30 days before start date. ADN Graduates: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program 30 days before the start date. Associate degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire Annual Department specific education requirements include: PALS certification Annual Department specific education requirements include: 6 hours of Trauma Education Annual pediatric competencies Annual occupational health compliance requirements Annual Point-of-Care Competencies: Capillary Blood Glucose, Urine Ketone Testing MRI Safety Competency Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License BLS at time of hire and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS must not expire during orientation Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications Pediatric CCRN certification Additional Details Length of Orientation – Experienced Nurse External candidates: OHSU & Nursing New Employee Orientation (NEO) for about a week. Either Transition to Practice (TTP) Program Specialty Fellowship/Fellowship Learning Pathway or Orientation experience for 3 days-26 weeks depending on the care area.
