POSITION SUMMARY We are hiring a Regional Director of Health and Wellness (LPN/RN) to support a group of assigned communities in Washington and Oregon. The RDHW is an integral member of the Healthcare team, contributing leadership and expertise to promote an optimal living environment for our residents. The RDHW is responsible for providing support services to all Healthcare team members in the communities in their assigned region, utilizing Cogir's resident care systems, policies, and procedures. The RDHW will ensure our residents are treated with respect and dignity and receive quality care as their healthcare needs change. The RDHW strengthens clinical processes within the community, conducts reviews of regulatory compliance, and provides community clinical support within their assigned region to support the management of vacant positions, startup communities, or extended leaves of absence, as needed. Provide clinical support to assigned communities within the region through frequent, informative communication and visits. Requirements CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Education & licensure: An associate's degree or higher is required. An LPN or RN license with additional equivalent training and experience is required. A dual license in WA and OR is a plus. The nursing license must be current and in good standing. Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least five (5) years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems, and pharmacies. Experience with Memory care is required. At least three (3) years in a supervisory/management position, with experience with budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling. Additional coursework in management is an asset. Preferred experience in a Regional Clinical Services role for an assisted living company overseeing multiple communities. Demonstrated knowledge of and working experience with State regulations relating to the health services field, in both Washington and Oregon. Department Overview The Cardiology Clinic is a multidisciplinary practice with primary locations at the Center for Health and Healing and Beaverton Clinics with some programmatic aspects on Marquam Hill. The practice cares for adults. The clinic cares for patients 18 and older with cardiac diseases. The RN is a key member of the multi-disciplinary patient care team, which includes physicians, advance practice providers, medical assistants, schedulers, and other clinical and management support staff. The Cardiovascular Device RN is a registered nurse who is independently accountable for the effective management and coordination of care of patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED), pacemakers, ICD, and Implantable Loop Recorders. The RN will partner with the Electrophysiology (EP) team and other clinical staff throughout OHSU to coordinate the care of cardiovascular patients with CIEDs. The RN will coordinate care in the outpatient setting for long term in person and remote monitoring. Assist with accurate data collection and analysis to support Device Clinic charting platform, national registries, process improvement, and quality initiatives. Assist with managing device alerts, advisories, recalls in partnership with multidisciplinary team and vendors. Operational Management/Coordination Of Mcs/Vad Services Developing and maintaining the clinical pathways, standards, policy procedures and order sets for the care of patients with CEIDs. Developing methods to best utilize the Cardiac Device and Electrophysiology resources to service inpatient, outpatient and OHSU staff. Department Overview The Division of Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery is one of the largest divisions within the Department of Surgery, comprised of a team of dedicated faculty in support of OHSU as a Level 1 trauma center. Our trauma surgeons provide expert care to the most seriously injured patients in the state, instruct future generations of trauma surgeons, and conduct research into improving and advancing the treatment of trauma patients. Its surgical critical care fellowship program sponsors four fellows each year. The trauma, critical care and acute care surgery advanced practice provider (APP) is a faculty member in the Division of Trauma, Critical Care & Acute Care Surgery. In this role, the selected candidate will work as part of a high-performing Trauma team in the Level I Trauma program at Oregon Health & Science University.
