POSITION SUMMARY We seek a dedicated Lead Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to our residents, assisting them with medication administration and activities of daily living, following a personalized medication and treatment plan. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the medication administration process, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Ensure the Med Techs and Care Partners are taking breaks as assigned Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director to develop and implement patient individualized care plans. Monitor residents' responses to medications and report any adverse effects or concerns to the HWD. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care activities. Order and receive medication. Conduct regular audits of medication storage and handling practices to ensure compliance with standards. Regularly review the resident’s medication administration record, centrally-stored record, and pharmacy transaction record, and report any errors to the HWD. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding medication management and health conditions. Assist the Resident Care Coordinator with scheduling as needed. Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing continuous engagement and companionship. According to the individual care plan, assist the residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration. Requirements CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid state medication administration license (such as CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet the state requirements for medication administration in assisted living. Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain. Experience, Competencies, and Skills: At least two (2) years of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting. Experience with memory care is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and high integrity. Strong leadership and communication skills, and a teamwork mindset. Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating our residents with dignity and respect. Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Ensure accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment is entered into ACES during the time of treatment. Monitor on a daily basis ACES compliance. Perform Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) Program audits as directed to ensure the provision of quality patient care and compliance with all Joint Commission requirements. Participate in QAI meetings as requested by the Program Manager to assure proper reporting of QAI activities Assess daily patient care needs and communicate concerns to attending physician. Implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed and in collaboration with prescribing physicians. Perform Acute treatments according to current Charge Nurse Guidance recommendations and oversee all dialysis related medical and emergency functions. Communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, triage and complete patient care plans in the most efficient and safe manner. Coordinate with appropriate technical staff to ensure preventative maintenance program for routine machine maintenance, to ensure the timely repair of disabled machines, to coordinate infection control measures, routine water culturing, water testing, logging of results, transportation of equipment and supplies, and communicate technical information to the staff. Serve as liaison between the administrative staff of each hospital/facility and the Program Manager. Practice cost containment strategies in all areas including medical supply inventory and personnel. Reviews and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations. Job Overview We currently have an opening for a part time Medical Assistant in our Vancouver, WA facility. The Medical Assistant supports the medical and nursing staff in providing care to infants, toddlers, preschool-age, adolescent, and young adult patients during outpatient clinics by performing routine clerical tasks. Gathers information during the intake process that assists the medical staff in diagnosing and treating patients. Information obtained includes patient history, heights and weights, vitals, allergies, medications, previous procedures, etc. Assists with cast applications and removals. The pay range for this position is $22.59-$33.89/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. Responsibilities Assists physicians, nursing and other health care professional with procedures, the intake and depart processes. Accurately documents findings during he intake process in the EMR. Measures, weighs, and obtains vitals and pulse oximetry and accurately documents in the computer. EKG, PFT, and the lab draws as necessary. Maintains examination rooms and equipment. Insures that rooms are ready for the next patient. Presents a positive customer friendly approach while carrying out all job functions. Takes responsibility to ensure that any patient information is not left in visible sight. Performs other duties as assigned, such as but not limited to, inventory of supplies and room cleaning, etc. Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.
