The House Supervisor (RN) will provide direct supervision for all nursing personnel on duty when Assistant Director, Nursing and Director, Nursing are not present. The House Supervisor (RN) will monitor and assess facility-wide patient care for adults (ages 18+), adolescents (ages 13-17) and children (ages 5-12). Job Duties/Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to all RNs, LVNs and Mental Health Technicians as well as clinical/administrative support for facility during his/her shift. Intervention Maintain the philosophy, goals and objectives for the Nursing Department which are compatible with professional nursing practice. Maintain Standards of Care Ensure the hospital maintains proper staffing levels while on duty. Interpret and discuss administrative policies with staff, patients and visitors when necessary. Ensures completion of admissions paperwork and that patients are fully informed during the admission process.
