PRN RN OR Circulator

If you have previous experience circulating in the OR and have a desire to work in women's health, this may be a great opportunity for you! We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse/OR Circulator to join our Winter Park practice. Our physicians are experts in the field of reproductive endocrinology. Together with a dedicated team of nurses and lab professionals, they provide compassionate, one-on-one care that is personalized for every patient. What you will do: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the Facility. Must demonstrate the knowledge of the principle of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the Facility’s policies and procedures. Demonstrates necessary practical, technical, or specialized skills required for the role of the peri-operative nurse in accordance with AORN and other regulatory standards of practice. Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and has the ability to oversee the instrument and equipment set-up, prepare for the case utilizing preference cards, and anticipates needs of surgeon. Coordinates and oversees the room during a case as the circulator. Facilitates effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures. Utilizes preference cards and updates as necessary. Education/Experience: HS diploma or GED, required Recent experience circulating in the OR required Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida Current AHA-certified BLS & ACLS certifications, and negative TB test result required IV skills preferred Part-time Hours. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with previous recent PreOP/PACU experience interested in picking up hours on a PRN basis. This is a fast paced environment that requires someone who can work with a team. We perform IVF and GYN related procedures. Our physicians are experts in the field of reproductive endocrinology. Together with a dedicated team of nurses and lab professionals, they provide compassionate, one-on-one care that is personalized for every patient. Facilitates effective and efficient transition from Preop to OR and PACU to release Utilizes appropriate body mechanics in moving patients, stretchers, and OR tables to prevent injury to patient and self. Ability to monitor patient as anesthesia wears off and evaluate patient Properly communicates any post-op care instructions to patient Demonstrates knowledge of management of patient, including: being available to anesthesia during intubation and extubation, assisting as needed in sudden changes in patient condition and being readily available to assist as directed. Aspire HFI is a high-volume infertility practice that seeks a caring, compassionate CMA, LVN or RN with attention to detail for their office in Memorial City - Houston, TX. Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, no weekends and only work 1 holiday per year. Responsibilities: Coordinate all infertility diagnostic tests and treatment plans between patients and physicians. Perform routine examinations, procedures, phlebotomy and administer medications. Telephone triage with patients regarding patient medication, treatment plans and test results. Care of patient through ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF and oocyte donation. Responsible for the ongoing communication between the Physician and the patient. Counsel patients on infertility treatment protocols. Communicate physician orders and instructions. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant individual for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, and inform patients for their appointment. Potential candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships. Work will take place alternately between two locations: 9160 Carothers Parkway Suite 201, Franklin, TN 37067, and 2201 Murphy Avenue Suite 401, Nashville, TN 37203.
