Overview Employer Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits! Min $39.10 - Max $63.42 Mon-Fri 8am-4pm Rotating Saturdays Employee assists the provider in patient care, computer electronic medical record documentation, charting and ordering tests, prior authorizing referral appointments and/or medications, refilling medications, vaccine coordination, administering immunizations, assisting with procedures, patient education, plus any/all other duties necessary for the smooth and efficient functioning of the clinic. Responsibilities 1) Check patients into exam room, obtains then charts pertinent information, vitals, medications, etc. pertaining to the clinic visit then assists provider as needed. 2) Sets up for examinations and/or procedures with necessary supplies and instruments as directed by provider then assists provider as needed. Ensures the instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized for the next procedure. 3) Stocks and maintains adequate medical supplies in exam rooms and within clinic supply area, reordering as needed. Stocks and maintains adequate supplies of vaccines and other medications, reordering as needed. Follows direction of provider regarding supplies or vaccines needed. 4) Responds to incoming phone calls and/or messages from patients, other providers, insurance companies, pharmacies regarding medical or insurance questions, referring to the provider to assist you as needed. Also input faxed Rx refill requests into electronic record then route to appropriate provider for completion. 5) Maintain an outline for procedures to assist other personnel when helping the provider. 6) Obtain insurance referrals for patient appointments with other providers. Obtains prior authorization for medications as directed by provider. 7) Charts into record, paper or electronic, vital signs, medications, histories, immunizations and other necessary information as directed. 8) Administers immunizations, vaccines, contraceptive injections, Lupron injections, etc. as directed, following protocol for patient. Documents injection site, Lot #, and vaccine into the electronic medical record. 9) Performs EKGs, spirometry, diabetic glucose checks i.e. Accuchecks, waived CLIA lab tests i.e. dip urinalysis, pulse oximetry, catheterizations, performs IV placement and therapy, etc., as ordered by provider. Presents results to provider then documents these into electronic medical record. 10) Performs patient education as directed by provider i.e. nebulizer treatments, breast feeding, fingerstick glucose checks, etc. 11) Performs nursing visits, i.e. blood pressure checks, staple/stitch removal, shots only visits, weight check, catheter change, etc. 12) Triages patient calls for urgent/emergent care, making appointments for patients needing same day appointments, double booking as needed. Follows practice triage protocols, requesting from provider as needed. 13) Assists with front office duties, i.e. schedule appointments, prepare charts, answer phone, enters computer data into the electronic medical record, and file as needed. Assists with all other duties as needed within the clinic to ensure efficiency and productivity. 14) Position may require working variable hours including nights and weekends and within various specialties. 15) Provide Vaccine Coordination for GSMG Clinics Qualifications Education - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Licenses , Certifications, and/or Registrations- Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS Other – Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Work schedule: Monday-Friday DEFINITION OF POSITION : The Interventional Radiology (IR)Nurse Manager will oversee and coordinate care between Diagnostic Imaging and the Operating Room. They will also oversee the use and function of the IR suite. The IR Nurse Manager will report to the Surgical Services Director. The Nurse Manager is responsible for a working knowledge of the medical/legal and accreditation aspects of nursing for their own department. The Nurse Manager provides direct supervision of the RN's, LPN's, Scrub Techs, Peri Operative Aides, CNA's, Unit clerks in their department. This position will provide direct on-site support, managing a variety of hematology cases, seeing patients in the clinic, and assisting with the implementation of infusion protocols ordered by the oncologist. Provide clinical management of patients in Hematology & Medical Oncology, ensuring appropriate, timely care under physician supervision. The focus will be on optimizing outcomes for a defined patient population, individualizing care based on each patient's needs, abilities, and preferences. The provider will coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various treatments, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Our practice emphasizes compassionate, whole-person care.
