Base Compensation: $185,000 - $215,000
+ bonus
Annual CME allowance, PTO, and other benefits provided.
Schedule: 40/hours a week
*May work an occassional Saturday as we expand cancer center hours.
Responsibilities
Overview of Position:
Provide patient care for a variety of diseases and cancers. The Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Provider will work under the guidance of a Physician, delivering compassionate care to cancer patients.
This position will provide direct on-site support, managing a variety of hematology cases, seeing patients in the clinic, and assisting with the implementation of infusion protocols ordered by the oncologist.
Provide clinical management of patients in Hematology & Medical Oncology, ensuring appropriate, timely care under physician supervision. The focus will be on optimizing outcomes for a defined patient population, individualizing care based on each patient's needs, abilities, and preferences. The provider will coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various treatments, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
Consult with oncologists about treatment options and assist in implementing treatment plans.
Educate patients and families about the disease process, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
Test and diagnose patients.
Provide direct on-site support, including managing straightforward hematology cases and assisting with infusion protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners or physician associates required.
- Unrestricted Oregon NP or PA license or the ability to obtain
- OR DEA license or the ability to obtain
Experience:
- Min of two years' experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Previous experience within Hematology/Oncology.
