Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans. Administer medications and treatments. Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment. Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. Cover other nursing roles within the department. We are looking for competent Caregivers to care for our elderly clients in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient, creative, innovative, and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Help clients with physical therapy exercises Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own (i.e. wash clothes, change bedding, vacuum clients personal area. Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Experience preferred but not required, in caregiving. Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
