Possesses one of the following: 1 year of work experience in medical billing, patient registration, and/or patient scheduling. Possess a current certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) from the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM). Experience calculating proper dosage and administering specific medications under the direction of the provider, particularly pediatric immunizations, and converting across measurement systems. Experience performing point of care testing, CLIA waived testing, wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
