Job Description UC Health is hiring a Full Time Clinical Staff RN Educator for our Psychiatry Department at the UC Medical Center The Clinical Staff RN Educator is responsible for providing individualized orientation for new personnel, in-service education, and continuing education programs to meet the identified needs of the staff. Unit-based responsibilities include: orientation, preceptor support/development, coaching/mentoring, quality initiatives, unit level annual competency assessment/validation, and student activities Ensures effective learning experiences for competency assessment and validation to reflect practice changes, regulatory agency or organizational policy requirements. Serves in collaboration with nursing leadership, the Professional Practice Organization (PPO), and the Center for Professional Growth and Innovative Practice (CPGIP) to implement nursing education and professional development programs.
