Assists with medications that are ordinarily self-administered as assigned. Attends in-service and continuing education programs as scheduled and necessary. Attends patient care conferences as scheduled. Preferred Qualifications Home care and home health background. Experience working in a home healthcare environment. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and patient privacy requirements. Knowledge of the local healthcare market and community outreach strategies. Company & Job Description Overview: Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently searching for talented Part-Time CNAs to join our team! We have Days and Nights for PRN. CNA Responsibilities: CNA responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials. Transporting patients. Answering patients' call lights and requests. Reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Experience with geriatric patients is a plus! Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire. Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check. Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job. Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment. Qualifications: Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required. Current CPR required as applicable to assigned area(s) Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.
