Qualifications
Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required
Current CPR required as applicable to assigned area(s)
Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Knowledge of confidentiality laws governing the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines
Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented; self-starter with strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
Basic computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional software as needed
Job-Specific Duties
Delivers and assists in the delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s)
Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and prioritize patient care needs
Performs accurate CNA assessments, including obtaining vital signs; promptly reports abnormal findings or changes in patient condition per department protocols
Maintains patient privacy in accordance with Logan Health policies and procedures
Assists patients with activities of daily living as appropriate to assigned area(s)
Accurately and timely documents care rendered in accordance with department procedures
Supports department operations by maintaining inventory, restocking rooms and supply areas, and ensuring equipment is safe and clean
Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards
Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain patient care priorities
Assists with administrative and day-to-day operational tasks as assigned
Promotes a safe, therapeutic environment and provides personal care in accordance with department procedures

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
