Alexa is a registered nurse and health writer. She began her nursing career in the surgical trauma unit and for the next decade, she took care of sick babies in neonatal and pediatric cardiac intensive care units.
Alexa traveled across the U.S. as a travel nurse, which opened her eyes to different approaches to health care.
