Wound Care Nurse Education and Skills

To become a wound care nurse, you’ll need to complete an approved nursing program and hold an unobstructed license or certification that corresponds to your level of nursing.

Certain employers may require wound care nurse job candidates to have a minimum number of years of experience, as well as basic life support (BLS) certification.
