What You’ll Own: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility support. Provide restorative care such as range-of-motion exercises, ambulation, and bowel and bladder training. Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident rooms and common areas, performing daily and deep cleaning as needed. Prepare residents for meals, assist with feeding, and monitor food and fluid intake. Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs, call lights, and concerns. Accurately document resident information in the electronic medical record system. Assist nurses with vital signs, weights, admissions, and other clinical or administrative tasks as assigned. Uphold resident rights, ensuring care is provided with respect, dignity, and confidentiality. Follow safety, compliance, and infection control protocols, including proper use of PPE and universal precautions. Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and management. Support team collaboration, participate in problem-solving, and contribute to a positive, professional culture. Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth operations of the community. How You’ll Stand Out: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living preferred. Knowledge of infection control, safety procedures, and resident care standards. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Ability to use basic technology for documentation. Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with National Church Residences’ motor vehicle policy.
