Job Title: Registered Nurse- Long Term Care (Hillside Manor) Cost Center: 351011295 Beaver Dam-NH-Hillside Manor Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: 8-hour PM shifts, variable days (United States of America) Job Description: ***This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.*** JOB SUMMARY The RN Long Term Care is accountable for the provision and promotion of quality patient services and practices within the scope of the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act, using technical and critical thinking skills and established standards to coordinate care of the residents and manage the facilities nursing staff. WORK SHIFT Hours: 2:30pm-11:00-pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: None CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute (Med/Surg) Cost Center: 351011173 BDHos-Med-Surg Nursing Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: 12-hour night shifts, variable days (United States of America) Job Description: ***May be eligible for a sign-on bonus*** JOB SUMMARY 12 hour night shifts, every third weekend, every third holiday The Registered Nurse-Acute functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism self-development, and teamwork. The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The Registered Nurse-Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
