The team provides intraprocedural care for patients having minimally invasive procedures in the field of Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Peripheral Vascular. The team provides care for patients having cardiac catheterization (diagnostic and intervention including STEMI), pacemaker and defibrillator insertions, cardiac ablations, nephrostomy tube placement, vertebroplasty, biliary tube placements, lower extremity and peripheral angiograms/interventions. The team also provides care to vascular patients in the OR Hybrid room. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Utilizes the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and specific competencies to assess the physical condition and nursing needs of patients, and develops a plan of care in a collaborative practice with the patient and interprofessional team.
