What You'll Do: As a RN Clinical Supervisor, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE through leading and supporting patient care for a broad range of patient acuities. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude as part of a multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers. You will be responsible for overseeing approximately 40 direct reports composed of RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics. You will also be responsible for gap analysis and project-based work that positively impacts the department, patient care, satisfaction scores, and employee morale. Emergency Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment that provides excellent quality care to over 68,000 patients, with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, annually. The department consists of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral Health rooms that serve every patient population from infancy to the elderly. Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. We are also a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. Emergency Services, a 2023 Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award recipient, is recognized and acknowledged for excellence throughout the department through metrics and patient experience that is difficult to find anywhere else in the nation.
