Registered Nurse - Women's Services Position Summary Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Overview 3 South is an 18 bed-unit in which the Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for patients admitted for general cardiac diagnoses as well as sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke. The RN also cares for patients requiring antiarrhythmic non-titrated drips. The patient population served tends to have multiple diagnoses requiring the RN to work closely with all of our Cardiologists as well as our Hospitalists to provide comprehensive care. The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures and standards of the Health System. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. Overview 3 North is a 16 bed-unit in which the Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for a wide variety of patients including heart failure, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and stable post interventional cardiology procedure patients. The RN cares for post vascular surgery patients as well as those requiring non-invasive ventilators, antiarrhythmic titrated drips as well as insulin drips. The RN works closely with all of Conway Regional’s Cardiologists. The RN commitment is to provide high quality patient care, teamwork, and empower staff. The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures and standards of the Health System. Overview 1 East is a unit in which the Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for a wide variety of patients including heart failure, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and stable post interventional cardiology procedure patients. The RN cares for post vascular surgery patients as well as those requiring non-invasive ventilators, antiarrhythmic titrated drips as well as insulin drips.
