The RN will lead clinic operations and perform a variety of patient care duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing up injections, wound care, post-operative care, patient education, triaging messages, completing disability paperwork, surgery screening, care coordination, and discharge planning for post-surgical patients. Occasional travel to other sites will be required. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized podiatry setting, providing comprehensive care and support to patients. Technical Skill: Demonstrates technical ability, understanding of job expectations and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. •Consistently tracks, organizes, and prioritizes the workload with the ability to sort through routine and stat data while keeping both the provider and the patient informed. •Charts assessments, interventions, and patient response concisely, descriptively, and legibly. •Utilizes established protocols to manage phone and walk-in triage of patients to identify the level of care needed, assign a triage priority, and implement the appropriate plan of action. •Use of critical thinking skills in the care of the patients/families and to resolve issues within the team. Job Requirements • Registered Nurse (RN) with state licensure. • Current CPR/BLS certification. • A minimum of three years progressive professional experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an ambulatory setting preferred. • Fully proficient verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with adult and/or pediatric IV and procedure skills preferred.
