The House Supervisor assumes overall responsibility for adequate staffing for next shifts and, in the absence of department leadership, assumes the duties of that department until relieved of those responsibilities. Part-time - 48 hours per pay period Job Responsibilities: Oversee activities and operation of nursing units during assigned shift. Conduct regular nursing rounds to assess quality of patient care, ensure patients and family needs are met and documentation that care meets established standards of nursing practice. Coordinate inter- and intra-departmental activities related to delivery of patient care such as assisting in resolving patient admission and transfer problems, securing medication, supplies and equipment and obtaining needed records and reports.
